Care costs

We understand that choosing a care home is a big decision, and understanding the cost of care is an important part of that process. At Shardlow Manor, fees are based on individual care needs and dependency, as well as the size and location of the room.

Every resident's needs are reviewed six weeks after admission to ensure their care continues to meet their individual requirements. If you have questions about fees or funding, we are happy to discuss your circumstances and help you find the right information and support.

We also offer a limited number of day care places for £70 per day. This can be a lovely option if you’d like to bring a relative in for the day to enjoy some company, activities, a meal and the support of our team, without making a longer-term commitment.

Funding support

We understand that paying for care can feel complicated, so we are happy to help you understand the options available to you. Shardlow Manor accepts council funded residents, and depending on your financial circumstances, the local authority may be able to provide financial assistance towards the cost of your care.

If your capital is £22,500 or below, the local authority can offer financial assistance to help towards the cost of care. If you have questions about funding or your financial circumstances, we can also help arrange contact with the relevant agencies.
